Pros

Full remote, work from home is convenient. Benefits are okay (but not as good as a larger company. )

Cons

All training is pre-recorded and web based. (And lacking). No in person training, No instructor led courses with real time feedback. This may work for some but is a definite negative for me. Travel seems to be discouraged due to the expense of it. I have never felt free to travel as needed, it must be overly justified with clear goals and purposes. Relationship building isn’t a clear enough purpose. Zoom meetings are overused, when in person meetings would yield better relationships and make more progress. Trying to do sales exclusively via Zoom is not a pathway to success.

Pros

Vacation/sick leave is unlimited, and the management was always easy to work with to take vacation. Just don't abuse it and work with them and it works well. The employees are all nice and I enjoyed working with them, but it was 100% remote.

Cons

It was 100% remote, with almost no travel. I never met my peers face, only on zoom, and only met my manager once (after 8 months on the job). This may be great for some but it just didn't work for me. I value facetime with coworkers and management to build cohesive team relationships and this just didn't happen. No face-to-face customer interaction, all Zoom meetings. How can you expect to be successful at sales when all you ever have are zoom calls with your customers, and half the time they don't turn on their video. Sandvine needs to allocate travel budget and encourage it? Sandvine is stingy with travel. The provided training was 100% online and painful. Recorded training gives no chance for questions and interaction. I just do not learn well without interaction so the training didn't work for me. The thick accent and bland demeanor of the recorded trainers also made the training very hard to sit through and benefit from. All of these are my "cons" and may not be cons for others. In fact, they may be positives for others. YMMV
