The people at Appirio are great, collaborative and fun. Many tenured associates refer back to the days before the acquisition by Wipro and want to reestablish best practices.
Cons
There is no diversity at the Global Leadership level. Leadership is reactive not strategic. Pay, advancement and reward system is restrictive. Bonuses are slashed, promotions are delayed, promises go unfulfilled. Attrition is out of control. There was a racist incident that happened during a worldwide company call. The person addressing the incident leaves the company. You wake up one morning and key players are gone. Same story comes from leadership who glosses over key challenges but focuses on net adds to grow business. People blame Wipro and "cultural issues". Mantra is that you should be happy you are not furloughed. Direct managers try to help their teams but get blindsided.
