Pros
The kids (and most of the nannies) are great! Good hours, no earlier than 9am no later than 6pm. Easy location to commute to with lots of trains and busses.
Cons
LOTS.
-The owners are very disconnected from their business. I worked here for almost three months before I met even one of them.
-The parents are largely a nightmare to deal with. Most are rich white Manhattan parents with lots of self-importance and entitlements.
-Work/Life balance is TOUGH if you get sucked in too deep. I found it difficult to make time for myself during my time there.
-Pay is low for the amount of work you end up doing. Lots of people who work there have multiple job titles and do two or three different jobs, but only get paid for one job.
-Overall, I just don't see this business succeeding with the way it is treated by its owners.
