Pros

If you're a driven software developer who needs ownership/autonomy and aspires to be a prolific contributor to a successful, fast-growing business, this is the right team for you! Here you can enjoy: cutting-edge tech, great culture and competitive compensation.

Cons

Not ideal if you prefer routine, passing days in auto-pilot. Also not the place for you if you don't enjoy collaboration or expect work to be served up on a silver platter.

Pros

- great people! often the first thing that comes to mind when people ask me what I enjoy about this job...it's the people! coworkers on my team and others are smart, kind, dynamic people as far as I've experienced! - company culture! thus far in my experience, AC has been very collaborative/inclusive. company-wide meetings are exciting, company and team events are fun, and the work itself hits a nice balance between important/timely but not too stressful! - hybrid work expectations! maybe just a personal preference, but AC's hybrid remote/in-office work policy is ideal - especially because we still have access to the office on WFH days, and I know that on in-office days the vast majority of my coworkers will be there as well making it feel very worth my time to come in - company growth! working at AC has been very exciting since the start because of the growth we've experienced. it's allowed me to grow professionally quicker than I would elsewhere! Overall, this has been my most positive work experience - no questions asked!

Cons

Applecart is busy and regularly changing! - sometimes we're crazy busy, which may require staying a little late or coming in early (happens occasionally, but never feels too disruptive) - on my team at least, we occasionally get directives to adjust our processes to better fit with the changing business needs. these can be a little difficult to implement quickly at times and can cause some confusion, but these do seem to happen for good reason and are probably just a growing pain. the number of changes also seems to have plateaued a bit in the recent months
