Pros
Some people are very nice at HQ
Cons
This is by far the most toxic workplace I have ever experienced. People may appear friendly, but they constantly gossip, slander, and backbite behind your back. There is relentless pressure on everything—from daily tasks to major strategic projects—which inevitably results in poor outcomes. There is zero recognition that quality work requires adequate time. Strategy constantly shifts, and layoffs are frequent; I personally witnessed four rounds in less than a year. Shockingly, managers and teams often joke about people they’ve just laid off, which I saw multiple times firsthand. Favoritism is rampant, and cliques among managers and their preferred colleagues create a high-school-like environment. Middle management has no idea how to properly manage teams or lead them to success with a healthy work-life balance. Instead, they drain employees and then lay them off. Managers are very liked by the executive team because they kiss up to leadership while dumping all the work onto their teams, continuously demanding rushed results every single day. Many employees are expected to work over 50 hours a week, often while being pulled into continuous meetings as they try to complete rushed work, while others coast or play during office hours. On top of that, you can be contacted at any time after logging off. This company is extremely toxic, poorly managed, and profoundly unprofessional.
