Pros
The only good thing was the pay, which was fair (until we found out the men who worked there for less time with fewer qualifications/experience were paid much more).
Cons
My manager was extremely sexist, saying derogatory things and treating men differently all the time. He would give them promotions and paid them ridiculously more than the girls who had been working doing a great job for years. Growth opportunities were far and few between, and there was no time and effort given into actually developing the technicians. Management expected advanced research projects with no guidance or resources, even though productivity did not take into account time spent on said projects. When I tried to go to upper management about the treatment, they said racist things and affirmed the sexist behavior. Altogether a terrible environment where I felt no support and was left traumatized.
