Pros
Pay, employees, work/life balance, remote.
Cons
I worked at Appriss Retail for several years. While many employees were talented and supportive, my experience with executive leadership was not positive. In my opinion, there was limited visibility, minimal involvement in day-to-day direction, and several abrupt leadership changes that created instability and confusion. The company promotes a modern, people-first culture, but what I observed didn’t always align with that message. I also had interactions with a senior leader that, while not inappropriate on its face, felt unprofessional and crossed personal boundaries for me as a subordinate, which made me uncomfortable. I saw many strong employees leave because they were frustrated with leadership. The company has potential, but I believe it needs more transparent, steady, and engaged executive guidance to match the culture it advertises.
