Pros
I had the best recruiting experience. When I spotted a job posting potentially related to my dream job that I have been looking for, I applied for the position almost right away. Then I got a call from the recruiting leader within the next day. She was very friendly and kindly navigated me throughout the process. I had a rushed schedule because I received another offer from another company around the same time, but she kindly accommodated the schedule. The first week was mostly related to onboarding. The onboarding process was quite smooth and the team is super friendly. Even during the first week, I could get some leads on new projects which are very exciting. I am so happy that I joined Aprio and hope this journey will be super exciting for me!
Cons
None for me so far. If you're not someone who has an entrepreneurial mindset, this place, at least as a client-facing professional, Aprio probably is not the right place to be. I want to have more opportunities to be an initiator and actively participate in practice building, so this is perfect for me, but the culture is definitely different from what I've experienced from a Big 4 firm.
