Low trust, low integrity - Software Engineer Lead Aptiv Employee Review

Morale is very low. Executives say they value many things but decisions are only about profits. Promises are not kept. Internal policies change every few months. Quality standards of work are extremely low unless something is a direct life-critical system. Everything is reactive, not proactive. None of the employees trust the executives because they harm the employees regularly to scrape every last penny. When questioned in town halls, executives can get antagonistic and even lie. There’s few opportunities for career advancement. Everybody is continually worried about layoffs and no raises. Benefit reduction is the new norm.
