Good business model , but pay the workers very little - Service Professional Aptive Environmental Employee Review

Pros

The company makes a lot of money and if you are good at upselling you make a little more here than other pest companies. They literally had 20 guys sitting in office every day for a month just to study for license.that goes to show how fast they are expanding.

Cons

You make at least 1000 bucks for the company every day but they pay you very little compared to that number. Because they offer paid licensing so your base pay is lower than other pest companies. You are required to work every other Saturday. Also because they make a crapton of money they don’t really care about you as individuals as most people there are deemed as replaceable.

Pros

The company has great culture, and everyone is helpful and caring. They make sure to do fun things for their employees.

Cons

Sometimes during sales season it feels super busy, and so many people in and out. Its really not that bad though.

Pros

Pay and overtime is great, management is decent, you run your own show- upsell, identify pest problems, know your chemicals, different methods, request inventory products

Cons

It's a lot of hours in summer. You will hate spiderwebs. I enjoy seeing many beautiful gardens and getting to know the local wasps, birds, and lizards- but it's not for everyone. Don't trust everything management says, and bring up issues early and with tact.
