Pros

Local team and what we collectively achieve together. Without our local teams, there would be no core Aramark.

Cons

Senior leadership is a complete mess, providing useless, unworkable tools and dated programs and initiatives that fail to help clients or workers or drive their initiaitives. Greed by senior leadership has stripped value and assets at the expensive of employees and long term company viability. Borderline and questionable tactics towards clients and employees by upper management result in lost opportunities and contracts. Ethically questionable senior leadership. Executive leade ship from region heads on up filled with persons not qualified for role based on prior experience or successes, creating a talent and business vacuum, hence continued gaps between our organization and competitors. Senior leadership repeatedly lies or plays shell games regarding bonuses and retirement plans. Separate sets of business practices and demands for various clients, if it means propping up Aramark finances. Charlatain leadership from top down. Regional level management (Vice Presidents and finctinal roles) unresponsive to needs of clients and teams, all just trying to stretch the charade they are perpetrating one day longer. So much is put on low level managers by Operations Excellence teams who usually are unqualified for their roles, that customer and client needs cannot be served, all at the expense of the contract.Failed to pay bi yes per employee employment contracts in 2018.

Pros

Working as a Lead Barista has been a rewarding experience that has helped me grow both professionally and personally. The role has strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills while allowing me to mentor and support team members. I enjoy creating positive customer experiences, managing daily operations, and ensuring high standards of quality and service. The fast-paced environment has taught me how to multitask effectively, stay organized, and work under pressure. This position has also provided valuable experience in training staff, inventory management, and team collaboration. Overall, being a Lead Barista has been an excellent opportunity to develop skills that are transferable to leadership and project management roles.

Cons

While being a Lead Barista has provided valuable leadership and customer service experience, the role can be challenging at times. The fast-paced environment often requires managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously, including customer service, beverage preparation, inventory management, and team support. Staffing shortages and high customer volume can create stressful situations, especially during peak hours. The position also requires long periods of standing, frequent lifting, and maintaining energy throughout the shift. Additionally, balancing leadership responsibilities with daily operational tasks can be demanding, particularly when addressing customer concerns or training new employees while meeting service expectations
