Pros
*Average pay for Entry Level *Great place to start a career *Good benefits (HC, Trips, Car Allowance, Gas Card...Standard to above standard these days for entry level sales reps) *Good career mobility if there are open positions *Great training to start
Cons
*Advanced sales training lacking *Big brother mentality to activity tracking * Compensation plan is constantly changing. 5 times in 3 years. Has gotten much worse recently no longer a 6 figure sales job...80k if your in the top 10%. Beware they will tell you different. *You have to force the career advancement question even when you are a year after year top performer. *You must have high energy, focus, and drive to win in this highly competitive market. Otherwise don't even apply. Be able to deal with people wanting to buy from you now but not being able to due to 3-5 year contracts, this will happen multiple times weekly.
