Pros
After my company was sold/bought by Arcadis-US, I was unsure about the new company. What I have experience so for is that the opportunities to excel are broader with the new company and accessibility to new and different project are greater.
Cons
The problem with the transition to the new company is the that micro-management is greater now. Projects budgets seem to be tighter and shorter deadlines which puts increase pressure on employees to work on their own time to meet deadlines. This can be a moral drain. It is increasingly harder to disengage from ones job by taking vacation time and not looking at ones email.
