Pros
Very wealthy and secure company with a long history, with established standards and procedures. Other employees are very friendly and helpful, there is great comradery, lots of opportunity and independence in the role so there is a lot of opportunity to gain experience , profit sharing is a very large bonus to salary
Cons
regular exposure to toxic/ cancerous substances and safety issues, high prevalence of health issues within the workforce Parent company controls the budgets and cuts them on a whim (resulting is safety issues) sexism and racism is an ongoing issue within the workforce, the company is still in the 1980s here
