Pros
most of the people are great to work with close proximity to the city training provided profit sharing is usually very good
Cons
rate of pay has not kept up to competitors particularly for trades workers. benefits cut back and no longer provided post retirement to those hired after 2012. vacation capped at a reduced amount cut backs in # of employees means more work and higher expectations of existing employees. work life balance is not good. there is little to no separation for those in supervisory, trades or technology roles. alot of micro managing. you're just a number and people are beginning to realize it and more and more employees are leaving for more lucrative employment with a better work life balance. They cat attract new employees due to the aforementioned lack of retirement benefits and comparably low rate of pay for similar work.
