Pros

The only Pros I can think of working at Arch Health Partners is the co-workers but this excludes management. The people who work for this company are one of the most hardworking people ever. The cafeteria at Palomar hospital is great.

Cons

The top management do not care about their employees. You have employees including providers leaving the company at a extreme rate. If you do not care about your providers, How are you treating your patients? What about patient care? Arch only hires employees from a temp agency so that they do not have to pay healthcare insurance due to the affordable care act. Every new employee is from a temp agency and they are not your top candidates for the job. If you work at Arch Supervisors and Managers will always do your performance evaluation late. For the past 10 years it has always been late that means no raises on time. My colleagues who were layoff reported Arch to the Labor board. If you were to leave the company you would not get any retro pay for raises because they are always behind on performance evaluations, this works in their favor. Management think they're always right but in reality they do not know how to manage. They have the wrong people in the Top level management positions. Management are doing a horrible job. The company has layoff or fired almost 25% of the company staff and are hoping they can continue to provided the same service with less staff. Management always talk about being transparent but management keeps telling their staff lies after lies during the 6:30 am company-wide meetings. The directors and executives mention no massive layoff but in the end if you add up the amount of employees who are let go, its a massive layoff. People lively hoods are on the line, and the company doesn't care one bit. This goes for the patients too because this is the same way how Arch kicks their patients to the curb.

Pros

I served on the Arch board through April, 2018. This medical group is a true gem that was led by a team of leadership professionals dedicated to high clinical quality and operational excellence. The board members I served with were both astute in their knowledge of the healthcare industry as well as governance prowess. Our focus was in governing with excellence and supporting the CEO in executing strategy and the corporate mission. To which, our board had the utmost faith and trust in her abilities and those of her outstanding leadership team. My thanks goes out to the high quality physicians that have rolled their sleeves up to focus on transforming Arch alongside leadership and in support of true clinical transformation. The combined efforts have been recognized at a regional and national level for healthcare excellence. Arch is a true example of healthcare innovation aimed at improving patient outcomes in a very real way. Thank you for the opportunity to govern with excellence and to be part of such a rewarding journey in transforming healthcare.

Cons

With the changes the hospital made to the Board of Directors, our board members are no longer serving. I wish the new hospital board the best in continuing our legacy-govern with honor and integrity.
