Pros
The CEO is great, which is rare. He truly does have an open door policy and is easy to talk to.
The pay can be good once you've been there for awhile.
Depending on the job, there is no micromanagement.
Able to work autonomously and remotely.
Cons
The hiring process is gibberish. They'll sell you on empty promises in the beginning about where your future with the company can go.
Promotions are solely based on favoritism and nepotism. Qualifications and experience mean absolutely nothing. As long as you become likeable to management, you've got the job. Regardless of experience. A lower level employee can completely jump over all levels of hierarchy as long as they have made friends with management.
Leadership do not listen to feedback. You are being difficult and unreceptive if you question them about the feedback, which they lack evidence when presenting it to you.
If you make a complaint, it is not taken into consideration. Senior leadership get away with anything simply because of their titles.
If you become to vocal, your job is in jeopardy.
If you're a minority, you likely will never make it to becoming a manager and especially not in a senior position. If you are, it's just to hit a number so they look inclusive.
