Pros
-Some of the projects are cool.
-good friendships between fabricators
Cons
There is a total breakdown between leadership. Starting from the top. The owner seems to care more about their pet projects that seem to suck money out of the main company. Most of said projects seem to fail. The general manager has no people skills and seems to lie about everything. The project management team seems to have no communication between all of them.
Architectural Elements seems to have the most top heavy office that I've seen in a fabrication shop. When the profit margins get too low, the shop personel are blamed.
In the fabrication shop there is an overall unprofessional atmosphere. Most people prefer to hang around and talk rather than do their jobs, and the foreman is too nice to say much. Most fabricators that are in the high skill level don't last too long. There are a select couple of fabricators that seem to hold the entire place together.
