Pros
I've spent two decades in the sign industry, and I can say from experience that AGI is a company that gets it right. Management is well organized and professional, which is rare in the sign industry. They uphold honorable principles, and put people first. What they do makes sense. I've seen them be very patient with difficult employees (including me at times), and they always give graciously when there is a need. The CEO and most company executives keep financial and business practices visible and above-board. You feel like you are part of the team, and no one is hiding anything. Every company says they are a "family" but at AGI, it really is in deed, not just in words. When they see promise, good attitude, and aptitude in a person, they will work to ensure they are developed and promoted. I was fairly high up in this company, and was involved in many meetings and conversations the average employee is not privy to, and I can say that I never heard or saw anything that gave me concern or caused me to lose respect for AGI. Looking back, I can say working for AGI was a great education and experience.
Cons
AGI asks a lot from their employees, and I personally had a bad work/life balance due to too much work and travel. As with most sign companies, there is cross-departmental blaming and banter. Due to such strong employer loyalty, some long-time employees have stopped being teachable, and can be drag on the team.
