Pros
One can learn a lot about commodity markets, pricing and analysis. Some exceptional senior people, clever, committed. Part of the reason so many people jump is that they take these skills to much better paying jobs at brokerages. For those who remain, there is a commitment to bringing transparency to markets, a mission that genuinely motivates people.
Cons
A cooperative atmosphere became cold and cut-throat as the company grew. Compliance is worn on management's sleeve, but it is not applied consistently. The conspicuous lack of diversity should embarrass management. It doesn't. Technology is stone age.
