Pros
Aristocrat has turned a corner over the past few years and there has been a significant focus & investment in People & Cultural initiatives. The environment is vibrant, dynamic and fast-paced. What I enjoy is having the opportunity to put your hands up to get involved in projects/initiatives that are outside of your day-to-day remit of your role/function. This provides significant opportunities for career development & cross-functional collaboration. It is a very friendly environment with a lot of talented people who really enjoy and care about what they do. Bonus structure is pretty good. Aristocrat has a diverse culture.
Cons
People who are not comfortable with an ever changing environment will not be best suited here. The location is a challenge with traffic congestion becoming more & more of an issue. Aristocrat will need to implement a formalised flexible working policy if it is to attract & retain key talent. Salaries for difficult skill sets may need to be reviewed due to limitations we have with location & perception of the industry.
