Lack of transparency. No absolute knowledge of the changing policies/funding etc., from government funding agencies (NIH/NSF). No appreciation for employee credentials, administration runs like a club, where only the faces that are known to the higher ups are promoted, the rest are not allowed to share their experience or rise up the ladder. Worst policy on vesting ever seen in corporate or academia. Five years for vesting, loose all the employer contribution if left sooner.
