Pros

Some great colleagues who genuinely want to help customers succeed. The mission to fight online fraud is meaningful and relevant. Exposure to high-profile enterprise customers and cross-functional collaboration across teams like product, sales, and engineering.

Cons

The organization struggles with internal alignment and transparency. Processes are often unclear or change without notice, which creates unnecessary confusion and rework. The product, while promising in concept, lacks the maturity and robustness to consistently deliver without significant manual intervention. As a result, frontline employees — particularly in Customer Success and Technical roles — are left to compensate under intense pressure and unrealistic expectations. There's little work-life balance, and burnout is common. CSMs are often put in impossible positions due to an underdeveloped product and a reactive internal culture. There’s a heavy reliance on CSMs to "make things work" when the technology or processes fall short, which leads to constant firefighting and burnout. Strategic planning takes a backseat to short-term damage control, and internal communication is inconsistent and siloed. It’s difficult to drive long-term customer value when you’re focused on plugging holes rather than delivering outcomes.

Pros

The company boasts a significant enterprise customer base and maintains a competitive advantage through its dedicated Security Operations Center (SOC) team. A truly "vibrant" culture. If you're seeking a workplace that truly tests your resilience, creativity in avoiding eye contact, and ability to thrive on passive-aggressive feedback, look no further! A unique corporate environment, particularly one that values a very specific and distinctive hiring pipeline. Arkose genius lies in their laser-focused strategy: apparently, the only prerequisite for joining the Arkose family is a former stint at ThreatMetrix. Diversity? Pffft. Who needs a breadth of experience when you can have a singular, deeply entrenched perspective on... well, whatever they were doing at ThreatMetrix that apparently wasn't quite stellar enough to keep them there. It's like watching a reunion special where everyone's trying to pretend their old band was actually good.

Cons

To support their admittedly green CEO, they've brought in an equally "talented" COO – someone whose incompetence is only outshone by their undeniable toxic charm. The company is currently experiencing organizational challenges characterized by a misaligned executive leadership team and a toxic work environment. Recent changes in the executive team have created a division between those who support the CEO and those who support the COO. This has resulted in a highly competitive and hostile work environment, The current COO has demonstrated a lack of engagement with customers and a history of missed quarterly revenue targets. This has led to concerns about the company's ability to maintain its market position and achieve its financial goals.
