Terrible management. Managers don't know how to do their jobs or aren't allowed to.

There are many pros to working at Armatec. The variety of the projects is really great, and the projects themselves are very interesting. There's a big emphasis put on the fundamentals of mechanical and materials engineering which is fantastic. There is a lot of responsibility on the project you are working on, and it's very rewarding seeing the final product. Collaboration with the shop floor is also a big emphasis in order to ensure more streamlined manufacturing. there are ample learning opportunities from senior engineers, as well as a strong influence on self learning. Timelines are fair however when it's time to dig deep you are expected to.

Lots of responsibility (can be good or bad, troubleshooting your technical challenges often comes down to you). Culture could be better, but it is improving. There is the odd complainer around, but there are many other people that enjoy working with you to solve technical challenges.
