I really enjoy working for Armitage opticians. There is a real focus on the customer and what is best for them, much more so than any Opticians I have worked at in the past. The team I work with are fantastic and since I joined over a year ago I have been encouraged and pushed to improve myself. I have worked in optics for around 10 years and can honestly say this is the best employer around. We work with great brands and the latest technology. The work life balance is good as the holidays are generous and I don’t work many Saturdays. The company is growing and the team is always positive in trying to achieve success.

There are no Cons I can think of. I thoroughly enjoy working here.

Very supportive peers. All the staff from the directors to managers to colleagues are very lovely and supportive! They are very welcoming. The environment is very friendly and all the patients are lovely. It’s a great company to work for if you really want to make a change to lives. Very high on service and getting to know the patient in order to make the appropriate lifestyle recommendations. Made to feel like Im recognised as opposed to another number. Staff are also very encouraging to help achieve career goals too.

No downsides it’s a lovely company to work for.
