Pros
Paid time off (PTO) is competitive if you are not in the first level, access to free gym/commissary/other military resources is nice. Living quarters allowance (LQA) is also nice if you are in a position entitled to that.
Cons
The bureaucracy is insane. There are tons of wasted resources and the efforts of getting the Army to invest in quality, industry-leading tools or software you may need are basically futile. Annual requirements (CBTs) are mostly pointless and a time-suck. If you are NAF, be aware of what that means fiscally and vis-a-vis job stability.
