Cons
This company has a highly toxic work environment, and I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a supportive or professional workplace. Many employees are simply there to gain experience and move on as quickly as possible. One of the most alarming issues is that the owner frequently smokes cigars inside the building, which is not only unprofessional but also creates an unhealthy environment. Unfortunately, HR is unable to intervene in matters that occur in the main building, which raises serious concerns about accountability and employee safety. I was also placed in a department where I received very little meaningful training. The person assigned to train me did not equip me with the tools or knowledge necessary to succeed in the role, which made it extremely difficult to perform my duties effectively. When I gave my two weeks’ notice, I was told to leave immediately. This response felt cold and dismissive, especially considering how important that time can be for financial and professional transitions. The lack of basic respect and empathy was deeply disappointing and left a lasting negative impression—particularly with the manager who made that call.
