Pros

I worked at Arrive for 5 years. I loved my job and I loved working for Arrive. I contributed a lot during my time there and saw A LOT so here are some of the true pro's and advice to anyone thinking about accepting a role here (especially sales): - Fun, young, competitive, hungry, performance driven culture. If this is not your vibe, you won't like it here. Plain and simple. - Casual dress code - Seems arbitrary but it really is nice! Come as you are. - Good opportunity to learn about a fast paced, necessary industry critical to our nation's economy. - Constant change - You will learn how to adapt & pivot (which is how the real world is, so those who complain about this need to get real) - You will learn a ton in general...logistics touches so many other companies/industries. Sales is such a transferable skill/job. Many working here have great experience from the 3PL industry so you truly have the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business. - (most) of the people - There are definitely some egotistical bullies at the company BUT I loved most everyone I worked with. Also, it's worth noting...you gotta play the people game if you wanna build relationships and network and get anywhere. Life isn't always fair. Put in effort. Kiss butt when you need to. Put your ego aside whenever necessary. - this is a great opportunity to make a ton of money and kick start a career in sales if you work hard. The working hard part isn't a joke tho. Oh, and build relationships. Do the work. It won't come easy!

Cons

Again, I loved my time working here but these were the cons I experienced during my time there and why I left: - Fun perks/benefits/things that made Arrive what it used to be being taken away. Still a great company but it was sad to see certain aspects cut out due to budget cuts - Budget cuts in general... understandable but made it hard to manage/motivate/incentivize my team towards the end of my time there - Moving towards being more "corporate" - inevitable but a bummer - compensation - some in corporate roles are paid under market value. This was a big contributor to my departure. - leadership who acted like bullies. I played the nice game as long as I could but ultimately couldn't stand being talked down to/humiliated in meetings any longer which is why I left

Pros

Ability to earn commission, but it’s all on you. Ability to run your own book

Cons

Handed off accounts drive success of most reps, if you are on a newer team, it’s a lot harder to find success.
