ArtsWave is very well connected to the entire Greater Cincinnati arts scene and companies all over the region. The office is in a prime location and I was able to learn so much about how arts & culture is funded in the region. The staff is so friendly and even took me out to lunch on my last day! Their mission is fresh and they invest in new initiatives to better the region every year.

Overall, the team is amazing. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, supportive, and vibrant. Getting connected to all of the arts organizations is a huge perk. The job can also lead to some great networking opportunities

There was a lot of turnover just before I started and while I was there. It was unfortunate to see a lot of great folks leave and leadership changes while I was there played a large factor in my decision to leave. All three team members in my department left within5 months of each other. The focus of our work seemed to move more and more away from community engagements and arts advocacy to donors. Many of the relationships with arts organizations became strained.
