      Pros

      The design method is innovative. Engineers will not spend too much time on tedious CAD drafting and will actually involve in structural design.

      Cons

      Working overtime is normal. The management method in the office is not great. The leaders sometime do not schedule their engineers efficiently.

      Pros

      Working at Arup was a great experience, surrounded by smart, motivated, and mission-driven peers.

      Cons

      This may have since improved, but at least previously, the America's region felt rather second-class compared to UK. Most/all senior leadership, even in the US, was British.

      great supervisor, lots of professional development opportunities

      Cons

      insane workload and expect you to be available for work 24/7. some teams are drowning and others have no resourcing. layoffs happen completely randomly and they lay off people who are 100 percent billable. profit share is bs and you get nothing as a junior member
