      Pros

      Ascend has some great partners and are in the Back Bay of Boston. A nice mix of rentals and condo/home sales. A solid place to start a career in real estate.

      Cons

      The initial commission splits are ok, in this industry in Boston almost all agents are 1099 and ask close to if not all costs come out of your pocket. So that's not unique to Ascend.

      Pros

      The flexibility and tight group of professionals generates motivation for a self starter industry. I highly recommend to any serious agent

      Cons

      The only real downside is the lack of exclusive properties, but as its a growing company, its sure to expand.
