Pros
Great benefits for doing very little work of substance, opportunity to travel and experience many new countries. Ability to become a specialist in other sectors even with no prior training.
Cons
Procurement takes months on end making it difficult to execute projects with quality, technology is about 20 years out of date, extremely hierarchal, many colleagues are territorial, its mission of poverty reduction is more story-telling rather than actual action.
