Before getting a role at Askfortask, I was in the corporate world doing 9-5 roles. I was really scared at first about working at a startup as everyone told me there is no work/life balance.
One thing i really appreciated about Askfortask is how involved their leadership is in the company. From managers to co-founders, everyone is super collaborative, engaging, helpful and fun to work with.
One thing worth mentioning is that I had one of the co-founders, Nabeel sit with me in my final interview to ask me if i had any questions. Its very rare for companies to address questions, concerns during interviews. I took this opportunity and did mention my concerns about some of the bad reviews here. Nabeel addressed all of my concerns and gave detailed explanation about the stuff I was worried about. Quite honestly, I was blown away by how different things are here compared to what I read online.
being part of this company, I would encourage everyone to just get in touch with anyone from our exec team and have a chat with them. You would definitely leave inspired, motivated and ready to take on the world!
Cons
As much as I love working here, one thing I would appreciate is having AskforTask involve in more socially responsible initiative. I would love to see our company investing both time and money to causes that matter in our society
