Pros

Aspen Medical has great work environment, where people aren't only compensated fairly for their work, but given many opportunists to grow and learn new things in their field of work, where people are productive and genuinely enjoy being there. I like the leadership team at Aspen Medical, they work exceptionally hard to not only grow the business but also consistently look to improve the company culture and your own goals. You have your own freedom to work your way with no micromanagement and with flexible hours. The most positive part about Aspen Medical culture and environment is the family atmosphere and an overall feel about people looking out for each other. This stems from many different things like employees sit at kitchen tables together, have lunch or tea, birthday parties, holiday parties, baby showers when a team member is expecting or company outings.

Cons

Greater clarity around reporting lines would help to reduce some of the cross-talk that can happen in workflows. The company has taken great steps towards this recently, however.

Pros

Flexible work arrangements. Great people in Brisbane office who support each other. We provide a service that helps people so this is satisfying. I feel like I can make a positive difference

Cons

Communication. For example, a consistent message form exec about the closure of RAHC and Shell projects so everyone is given the same messaging at the same time. This avoids whispers and rumors. We have some inefficient processes which causes duplication of efforts. Internal training - we are heavy on training from some areas but have none for others.
