Pros

Working for a large $2b company can open pathways

Cons

Poor ownership from private equity. Every day is a fire drill and the micro management is not only from the CEO and leadership but also the PE owners do not know their place - they believe they are running the company and interfere in small aspects - therefore no unity of command and employees are clueless who to follow. Significant turnover and exits with different exit program names kept by the name of birds - the speculation remains as to which is going to be the next bird. 2-3 core c-level people that created an idea to split the company into two for no real reason came with no real logic on what they and why they do what they do every day. The company sees lack of knowlege base, very weak systems made pretty looking with layers of systems that are being made to show a pretty face of the company that is about to be sold. toxic culture and no trust at any level in the company. no executive lives in the same town and therefore zero connection with the community - its all about big PE money.
