Pros

From day one, the team has been nothing but welcoming. The onboarding process was thorough, and leadership is genuinely accessible, they don't just talk about "culture," they actually practice it by celebrating small wins and acknowledging individual contributions. It is a high-performance environment, but it is deeply collaborative; if you are willing to communicate and put in the effort, you will find a lot of people ready to help you succeed.

Cons

This is a fast-growing company, which means processes change frequently. It requires a high level of adaptability and autonomy. If you are looking for a place to coast or need to be micromanaged to know what to do next, this probably isn't the right environment for you. The pace can be intense, but it is rewarding for the right type of worker.

Pros

The mission here is the real deal. You aren't just a cog in a machine- you can see how your daily work directly impacts the company’s goals and improves patient access. Leadership is very transparent about our direction, and the talent density is incredibly high. My coworkers are easily the most driven and inspiring people I've ever worked with, If you want to learn how a business actually scales from the inside out, this is the place to be. There's no shortage of new initiatives to own, and regardless of your job title, you are entrusted with a high degree of ownership over execution.

Cons

The rate of growth is staggering- 10x headcount in a year is no joke. Because of that, we’re often building the plane while flying it. If you need rigid structure or a predictable routine, you might struggle here. We are always assessing how to do things better, so "normal" is a moving target. Also, this is definitely not a 9-5 role. Since the environment is so high-trust and autonomous, it’s a great fit for someone who is disciplined with their time and knows how to prioritize their own boundaries.

Thank you for sharing this. Much of the work here involves navigating real-world complexity without a fixed playbook, which requires ownership, judgment, and adaptability. We try to be transparent about that reality as we continue to build and scale. We appreciate the thoughtful perspective, and feedback is always welcome at people@assorthealth.com.
