Amazing preceptor and mentorship team!

Those guiding us should recognize that some projects demand more time, as we also balance responsibilities beyond our remote internship.

Pros

I interned awhile back, but I can’t say enough good things about the Assuaged Internship Program! Thanks to them, I just landed my dream job as a Health Research Assistant at the WHO! Assuaged Foundation is a nonprofit that's all about making a difference. They run an awesome remote internship program that mixes AI and digital marketing to help out students who need it the most. Plus, they bring in amazing public health mentors! It's all about creating the next generation of digital whizzes. During my internship, I got to explore so many cool projects. I wrote SEO blogs, put together e-magazines, learned about social media campaigns, and even joined some pre-recorded health topic webinars. I also helped plan outreach events, did deep research on chronic diseases, and created educational resources. It was remote hands-on learning at its best. But what really blew me away was the mentorship. I got to connect with some seriously impressive people, including celebrities. That kind of networking is priceless and definitely helped me get my foot in the door at the WHO. It felt like I was part of something big and important. The Assuaged Internship Program gave me real-world experience and skills that I’ll carry with me throughout my career. If you’re looking for an internship that’s more than just busywork, Assuaged is where you want to be. It’s been an amazing journey, and I’m so grateful for everything I’ve learned and all the support I received.

Cons

More staff support is needed, it takes some time to get some help through so many Monday board requests, but I always was attended to and I understand non-profits don't have much funding as other businesses do.
