Pros

* Money is good for an entry level corporate position. * The people you work with are the type to work hard and play hard, wins are definitely celebrated and I've been able to really connect with the people I work with. * Hard work is rewarded, tenacious hustlers will succeed in this position. * Professional development is a priority here, you will be challenged to build yourself as a professional and I've grown a lot within this role.

Cons

* Expectation to work 55 - 60 hrs/week, at the very least. (If you actually want to move up in the company). * Common burnout, in the last year I've said goodbye to at least 6 other recruiters. * Depending on the managers, you may be pushed to work a couple Saturdays a month. * Depending on your market, the candidates and contractors you work with will often disappoint you and this can lead to losing your faith in humanity. * The high highs and low lows of this position is not for everyone.

Pros

Aston Carter provided excellent opportunities for professional growth, career progression, and leadership development. I had the opportunity to work with some of the largest healthcare and insurance clients in the country, build strong client relationships, and lead high-performing teams. The company offers strong training, a collaborative culture, and a performance-driven environment where hard work is recognized and rewarded. I was fortunate to work alongside talented colleagues and supportive leaders who helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Cons

Like many staffing and recruiting organizations, the environment can be fast-paced and demanding, with a strong focus on metrics and performance goals. Work-life balance can be challenging during peak periods, and processes can sometimes vary between offices or leadership teams. However, these challenges also create opportunities for growth and development.
