Pros

Unlimited earning potential Decent benefits Exposure to lots of legs clients

Cons

Compared to other divisions of Allegis group and other geographic locations the SPC (how you make commission) is terrible in the southeast. There are some good commission roles to work on, but those will be given to the senior recruiters. There were recruiters up north that are making double the commission we were from the same amount of candidates. This company reels about work life balance, but if you are not hitting their unrealistic standards you will be put on a pip. Just as context, we had over 15 recruiters on our team and all but one were put on a performance improvement plan. If they cared about employees mental state they would not be sending passive aggressive messages by putting you on a ‘non HR PIP’. Chill with the threats. Management definitely micromanages and tracks your minute by minute activity. How realistic are managements targets if they have to put almost all of their recruiters on a PIP?? If you are looking to work somewhere where you will treated as an adult and not baby sat, AC is not the place for you.

Pros

Aston Carter provided excellent opportunities for professional growth, career progression, and leadership development. I had the opportunity to work with some of the largest healthcare and insurance clients in the country, build strong client relationships, and lead high-performing teams. The company offers strong training, a collaborative culture, and a performance-driven environment where hard work is recognized and rewarded. I was fortunate to work alongside talented colleagues and supportive leaders who helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Cons

Like many staffing and recruiting organizations, the environment can be fast-paced and demanding, with a strong focus on metrics and performance goals. Work-life balance can be challenging during peak periods, and processes can sometimes vary between offices or leadership teams. However, these challenges also create opportunities for growth and development.
