Pros

There were no pros. The compensation in terms of hours actually put in is just utterly depressing, and benefits are subpar. There will likely be irreparable damage to your mental health. Just don’t do it.

Cons

Senior leadership breeds a frat environment in offices and punishes those who speak against it. Unless your boss wants to drink with you on the weekends, you will not survive here. When I was asked my opinion on bringing someone on to the team, my senior leader asked ,”is this someone you would want to go to happy hour with?” I’ve witnessed racism, harassment, sexual harassment, and many illegal recruiting practices during my employment here. HR will only try to cover things up and gaslight you. No one can be trusted and everything needs to be documented. Run.

Pros

Aston Carter provided excellent opportunities for professional growth, career progression, and leadership development. I had the opportunity to work with some of the largest healthcare and insurance clients in the country, build strong client relationships, and lead high-performing teams. The company offers strong training, a collaborative culture, and a performance-driven environment where hard work is recognized and rewarded. I was fortunate to work alongside talented colleagues and supportive leaders who helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Cons

Like many staffing and recruiting organizations, the environment can be fast-paced and demanding, with a strong focus on metrics and performance goals. Work-life balance can be challenging during peak periods, and processes can sometimes vary between offices or leadership teams. However, these challenges also create opportunities for growth and development.
