Pros

Aston Carter helped me get a position rather quickly. I applied to the position on their website on my own. I did not contact them first and ask for a recruiter.

Cons

Once I got hired I was on my own. The position was supposed to be 3-4 months to perm and the company insisted on hiring me once my Aston Carter contract was over. However that did happen. The company did not want to pay me my asking price. They did not even want to pay me what Aston Carter was paying me and Aston Carter did not assist or advocate for me at all. I was completely on my own fighting for a permanent position and pay and ultimately had to leave to get more money and a permanent position elsewhere. I will never use Aston Carter for another position as long as I live and I do not recommend them.

Pros

Great communication with you and the clients

Cons

Sometimes it is a long wait for a position or client. So, not super reliable mode of income.

Pros

Aston Carter provided excellent opportunities for professional growth, career progression, and leadership development. I had the opportunity to work with some of the largest healthcare and insurance clients in the country, build strong client relationships, and lead high-performing teams. The company offers strong training, a collaborative culture, and a performance-driven environment where hard work is recognized and rewarded. I was fortunate to work alongside talented colleagues and supportive leaders who helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Cons

Like many staffing and recruiting organizations, the environment can be fast-paced and demanding, with a strong focus on metrics and performance goals. Work-life balance can be challenging during peak periods, and processes can sometimes vary between offices or leadership teams. However, these challenges also create opportunities for growth and development.
