Pros
Friendly Customers for the most part. Big windows to look out of...as you stand at the register...while you imagine yourself on the other side of the windows... for 5 hours.
Cons
The managers will put you on register for about 5 hours (your entire shift) , after that they will want you to pick up their slack because they weren't doing anything for their shift. Customers will get mad at you because they couldn't find anyone else working in the store. Other employees that aren't at the register can be found in the corners of the store while they wait for their shift to end. While at the register you will need to also be taking care of about half the store, cleaning, organizing, trying to help customers all while bringing carts in from outside. You will need to keep one eye on the register...so that it does not explode...(huge line, bomb threat etc.) The music in the store has about 4 tracks that loop over and over. You will enter a state of purgatory as you zone out wishing that...maybe...just maybe...the music system will play something not terrible. Many customers would come and complain about the music and how it made them want to end their own lives... They played great hits such as...Beatles tribute bands... Alpha Rev - "Phoenix Burn" ...and Paul McCartney's - "simply having a wonderful Christmas Time"...in early October. (Sarcasm on great hits...they are terrible) Hours are based on favorites so you will probably get 10 hours a week. Unless of course...you happen to be The Pope...Ronald McDonald...or a Highschool Friend with the manager. PLEASE...for the sake of all that is just...all that is pure....For the Human Spirit...do not work here.
