Pros

Good place to start a career. Many good PM and quant strategists on the team. At least my PM were very knowledgeable and patient in teaching. As a junior, you get the opportunity to made some real contributions.

Cons

Understaffed developer team, result in lagging trading platform. Research teams barely communicate with each other, not a efficient research environment.

Pros

Flexible working hours, most days are less than 9 hours; Flexible rollover/buyback policy for vacation days; Free lunch on Thursday, plus lots of delicious snacks at bar everyday; Access to manager directly as junior employee; high level managers are nice and willing to help; Fantacy IT system and market access for quants; the best working desks/chairs; Convenient location, just steps away from Penn station;

Cons

Office is a little bit crowded compared to peer companies; Being next to Penn station makes it a little bit unsafe compared to, i.e., Soho/Park Ave./Midtown;

Pros

A lot of guys working there are nice, but the ones who do well tend to be cut from the same cloth as CEO Brad Banks.

Cons

CEO Bradley Banks is not a good guy. You can read about the SEC’s fine of the company in 2014. What you won’t read is that Banks' M.O. is to take whatever he thinks he can get away with. Outside of a clique of favorites, Banks is pretty much as stingy as he can be with pay.
