Pros

sufficient resources to be successful, team based atmosphere, great cliental, great training periods to be successful, management wants you to succeed, company is growing fast

Cons

good benefits, but slightly expensive, low total of PTO days, young company that is working to provide a smoother operation (a lot of bumps now, in the process of being fixed as company is growing)

Pros

ATS is job where you get what you put into it. The company is mostly made up of Athletic Trainers so the advocacy for the profession is higher than anywhere else I have been. I have had room for growth, received raises, and we even get a Christmas bonus. The owner, Matt, is easy going and truly cares for his employees. As far as the job goes, you need to be willing to create your reputation on-site and make connections. We have set up things like mental health resources, blood drives, and substance abuse resources to name a few. With case management, you have to be able to sell yourself to the employees and navigate the realm of health care. The pay is above and beyond what you would normally expect as an athletic trainer. Also, you have set hours with no surprises or forced overtime.

Cons

The company is rapidly growing so you have to be able to adapt to the changes that come with this. The PTO package is not very good, but it is difficult because the companies are paying for on-site coverage and some sites may have difficulty filling PRN roles. I do not utilize the health insurance benefits through this job, but I know it is on the pricey side.
