Pros

If you are a young clinician, you will be well compensated and receive mentorship. The benefits are tailored for young providers (22-35 y.o). The CEU money is good - but that's all OP PT. Local clinics and regions can be wonderful - you really need to get to know this area and enjoy your day to day co-workers. Above mid-grade management, there is constant change.

Cons

Athletico is lost - 4 CEO's in 6 years. While change can be positive, a constant change mentality leads to confusion and frusturates the field. They work with tongue-in-cheek. Patient outcomes are stated to be the most important thing. You get great outcomes only to hear - why don't your pts attend more frequently? If you are experienced - 10+ years the benefits are subpar as you will not use many of them d/t where you are in life. There is small opportunity to take advanced leadership, which typically does not occur d/t frequent C-suite changes. The field is not really heard - there are groups that meet the C-Suite, but it is more the C-Suite saying we are rolling this out - what do you think, rather than what do we need to do differently or listening to pinch points.

Pros

Great hands on experience compared to other clinics. Heard that at other clinics, aides just clean and 'make the clinician's life easier' but at this location if youre willing to learn and take initiative, you can assist patients through their exercises under supervision of the licensed therapist

Cons

The only thing is the pay, but it's an entry level job so makes sense why.
