- The company's culture is overall friendly - In IT, we get to work from home 2-3 days per week - We are not ever expected to put in overtime, and when we do, it is always paid - Plenty of non-mandatory opportunities for travel, if you like traveling for work - The team will not pressure you into going to after-work events, but you are always invited - You usually know what to expect
Cons
- You have to answer phone calls - There are lots of repetitive chores to do, such as onboarding - Some of the software we use is really slow and buggy - Athletico is not a tech company, nor is it tech-adjacent, so IT is not as highly valued as it may be at some other companies - Recently there have been a lot of acquisitions. Ironically, this growth has vastly increased IT's workload
