Pros
It’s a job, but not a healthy one
Cons
Severe lack of communication. Getting negative feedback from so many entities when something out of your control goes wrong. Driving time could be drastically reduced by rearranging routes. Wear and tear on the body from Chlorine, sitting, and fighting water. You are just a number that is easily replaceable so they do not care to give you a personal life or care to hear how you are doing. It is a huge family business so the office gets by, by doing less than minimum work. The mechanics make the pool techs look bad. Very stressful when peoples safety depend on you and you want to have their equipment working and make them all happy, but you are also on a time crunch. There is never a breakdown of what customers pay and contract to what you are supposed to be paid. The verbal agreement is constantly broken with what you are supposed to get paid and reimbursed for. They dont care to train the employees properly and overwork them so that pools have problems that the conflict of interest business can fix. They charge you every paycheck for a uniform!
