Pros

Best culture I've ever worked in. Fun atmosphere, impactful work, flexible schedule, great pay and a family business that really cares about the employees.

Cons

Maybe the only con would be the cyclical nature of the HVAC business....but every HVAC company experiences that. Luckily we have over 11,000 comfort club members that keep us busy!

Pros

It's a great company to work for, they have amazing leadership and a great team! The jobs are worth doing and they're always worth the paycheck.

Cons

The benefits for Healthcare with the high deductible suck! And forget it if you're diabetic, it doesn't cover any of the meds. Basically, if you're young and in good health, it's a great place to work! But if you're over 30 and have a family, or have any pre-existing health conditions, you're better off working here and getting another private Healthcare option. Also, the entire industry is hard-core right-wing, so if you're even left leaning at all, hide it. If you're LGBTQIA friendly, this is not the company for you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on Glassdoor regarding our company. We genuinely appreciate your input, as it allows us to address concerns and provide further clarification. To address your health care concerns, we understand that healthcare benefits are an essential aspect of your overall compensation, and we strive to ensure that our plans are competitive, comprehensive, and affordable. We would like to provide some additional information to clarify the points you raised in your review: 1. High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP): We benchmark our benefit plans annually to ensure that they remain competitive in our industry, region, and for our company size. Our HDHP is designed to offer comprehensive coverage at a lower cost, with affordable premiums for our employees. It's important to note that currently, once an employee meets the $2,000 deductible (or $4,000 for family coverage), all eligible medical expenses are covered at 100%. This means that you have protection in place for any unexpected medical expenses beyond the deductible. In addition, Atlas Butler contributes $600 a year in a Health Savings Account for all employees in our plan to assist in paying for medical expenses. 2. Coverage for Pre-Existing Conditions: You mentioned concerns about pre-existing medical conditions. We want to emphasize that, since the enactment of the Affordable Care Act in 2010, pre-existing conditions are no longer a barrier to receiving coverage. Our plan fully complies with this regulation, ensuring that all employees have equal access to healthcare, regardless of their medical history. 3. Diabetic Medications: We are proud to offer coverage for diabetic medications under our plan. Our goal is to support the health and well-being of our employees, and we understand the importance of providing coverage for essential medications and treatments. 4. Resources and Assistance: We have valuable resources available through our brokers, insurance carrier, and our human resources team to assist employees in navigating their health benefits effectively. Also, we understand that perceptions can sometimes differ, but we would like to clarify that we have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind, and we take pride in being an equal opportunity employer. Our team is made up of people from various backgrounds, perspectives, and beliefs, and we believe that this diversity is one of our greatest strengths and we support it. We genuinely value your feedback and are committed to continuously improving our benefits offerings and are always open to feedback and strive to make our workplace better for all employees. We appreciate your 4-star rating!

Pros

As install goes, they probably pay better than anyone in Columbus.

Cons

The culture has changed. They prefer to sell instead of service and the general public has noticed. Look at any neighborhood page on fb to see what clients think of them.
