Pros

Excellent product. Market leader with customers. Customers know our product and are familiar with Atlas Copco in general. Good management structure with excellent sales process in place.

Cons

Atlas Copco is a very large company and therefore takes a LONG time to make decisions that seem critical at times. Service dept is a FOR-PROFIT organization which makes life as a customer difficult and painful. I understand making a profit (we ARE in business for a reason), but stepping back and looking at the big picture with a customer is needed most times.

Pros

Coworkers are great Many problems so you stay busy as a CI person The people at the worker bee level are the only real pro

Cons

Managers are too “wise” You can’t change anything inside the ERP but they all want ERP changes (it’s bad you will get frustrated) Super decentralized meaning all building operate how they want to. They make it sound like a strength but it’s literally their biggest weakness. Managers do not understand processes USZ or the NSC in Charlotte has a serious issue of hiring people who are not qualified for manager roles as managers. Discrimination They care more about how you look and not so much about the work you produce
