Pros

Cheerful children (some of the time)

Cons

This place is a farce, a slapped-together excuse for a school where the owners couldn't care less about their employees. They do not pay a living wage, answer emails, or respect you. They refuse to communicate with even the parents, and so the onus is on you, and you alone. The job listing on this site is always up. You've been warned.

Pros

- Great opportunity to teach a foreign language in an immersion setting. - Working with young children was incredibly rewarding; students were curious, engaged, and full of positive energy. - Some colleagues were supportive, passionate, and made the work environment better despite organizational challenges. - Valuable experience in adapting teaching practices to a bilingual, anglophone environment

Cons

- Severe lack of professionalism and communication from the management team. - Unfulfilled promises regarding working conditions, resources, and support. - Poor hygiene and maintenance standards in some classrooms. - Lack of pedagogical leadership — management had little to no background in education. - Constructive feedback was not welcomed; raising concerns led to defensiveness and tension rather than solutions. - Little to no structured onboarding, training, or ongoing support for teachers. - Stressful and toxic environment at times, affecting both work quality and personal well-being. - High turnover rate among staff due to unsupportive management practices.
